Welcome to Energy in Agriculture 2020
Opportuntities for Rural Diversification
Welcome to Energy in Agriculture 2020. The event will take place on July 15th and is now firmly established as Ireland’s largest renewable energy event for the farming community. Last year the event attracted 2000 visitors. Once again it will give farmers the opportunity to explore the latest renewable energy opportunities to use clean technology, drive efficiency and manage business costs in Irish agriculture.
Energy in Agriculture is a free event and is open to all who are interested in reducing energy consumption and increasing the production of renewable energy on farms. This year there will be a strong focus on diversification on the farm with a whole set of talks designated to the topic.
Speakers will share insights on real opportunities to make financial savings and reduce energy consumption on-farm. The latest in agri-technology will be on view in the Exhibition arena.
The full agenda will be announced in due course. Registrations are now open.
The conference is a joint initiative between Teagasc, Tipperary County Council, the Irish Farmers Association, Tipperary Energy Agency and Gurteen Agricultural College.
