Energy in Agriculture is delighted to announce that The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has come on board as Headline Sponsor for Energy in Agriculture 2018.
SEAI is working with all sectors across Ireland to transform how we think about, generate & use energy in this country. SEAI has actively supported and participated in Energy in Agriculture since it’s inception. Commenting on the news, one of the organising committee members – Barry Caslin, Teagasc said “I am delighted to extend our partnership with SEAI, who have been an integral part of Energy in Agriculture over the past 2 years. As Headline Sponsor for Energy in Agriculture 2018, SEAI is demonstrating their commitment and support for Ireland’s largest Energy Event for the Agricultural Community.”
In announcing its support, Majella Kelleher, Head of Business and Public Sector, SEAI said “SEAI provides support and information to farmers to help them use less energy and where possible use clean, renewable energy. This boosts a farm’s competitiveness and reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Energy in Agriculture is a great opportunity for the sector to come together and learn more about best energy practice. SEAI is delighted to be the lead sponsor in helping the agri sector play its part in a clean energy future for everyone.”
